Tampa vascular specialist, Jennifer Guevara is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner highly skilled in diagnosing, treating, and managing vascular disorders.
Ms. Guevara is delighted to be serving the Tampa Bay community by helping to provide unsurpassed vascular health care at The Vein and Vascular Institute.
Education and Training
Vascular specialist, Ms. Guevara started her nursing career in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area after graduating with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University.
As a registered nurse, Ms. Guevara specialized in Critical Care at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. She worked in all aspects of intensive care, including Cardiac, Medical-Surgical, Neurosurgical, and Trauma Intensive Care Units. She became Trauma Certified and was trained as a Charge Nurse. After working in Critical Care, Ms. Guevara decided to transition to outpatient Interventional Radiology at the Vascular Institute of Virginia in Woodbridge, Virginia.
After gaining experience in intensive care and interventional radiology, she graduated with her Master’s of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, at Chamberlain University.
Memberships
Ms. Guevara is an active member of American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Area of Expertise
Ms. Guevara joined The Vein and Vascular Institute in 2022, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and management of vascular disorders. She is highly skilled in sclerotherapy vein injections for the removal of spider veins.
